Rustic Modern Staircase with Reclaimed Timbers

Old and new. Rustic and modern. This staircase is a beautiful contrast. 

The home owners came to us with a vision to design their stairs around 100 year old reclaimed timbers from Saskatewan. Working with reclaimed rough hewn timbers and integrating our precision and perfect fit with the imperfect, was a challenge that we gladly embraced. We designed a closed rise, red oak staircase that brought the timbers and all their character to the forefront. 

With tight precision craftmanship, we were able to install the stringers, treads, and railing into a rough and imperfect surface. The result looks perfect. The glass panel railing and black powder coated glass hardware brought the modern element to contrast the old rustic timbers of this stair.
