Jeff Jensen - Specialized Stairs for Okanagan

Jeff Jensen

Owner & Director of Specialized Stair & Rail BC

There is tremendous satisfaction when you’re working within your lifelong passion. And for me that’s creating stairs that wow my customers.

Jeff has over 15 years of professional stair building experience and is responsible for BC operations.

VP Operations

My bottom line is I want our team to deliver quality and service on every project so our homebuilders get what they want-happy home owners and homes done on schedule.

Ryan has worked at Specialized for over 14 years and works directly with home builders and clients on designing stairs and managing projects.

VP Sales

We work hard to make our customers feel comfortable at every stage of the project. We want you to understand where we are going and how we are getting there. There is nothing worse than a surprised customer.

Kevin has been with Specialized for over 7 years and works directly with home builders and clients on designing stairs and managing projects.

Railing Installer

When I install railing it has to exude quality. Before I leave a job site, I make sure that everything is done right-otherwise I don’t sleep at night. Taking pictures of the staircase when I am done is my way of capturing the end of a project and the beginning of a piece of art.

Bryan has been installing stair railing with Specialized since 2012

Our History

Specialized Stair & Rail began in a barn in 1999. Rene started the company and created stairs by hand.

Two years later he moved into a small shop and hired his first employees. Both are still with the company today. Since 2007 Specialized Stairs has operated in a 15,000 sq ft shop and has been investing heavily in technology and advanced machinery.

In 2013, Specialized Stairs began producing custom curved glass in-house to help reduce project schedules and support advanced stair designs.

In 2014, Specialized Stairs began expanding operations into the USA and has been successfully providing our product to customers across the continent.
