Unsupported Solid Oak Curve

Lottery dream home designers sought to recreate a curved staircase inspired by a magazine picture of a spiral staircase that looked like stacked wood. The structural differences between curved and spiral stairs are vast. Under intense time pressure, we delivered. 

 

We built an unsupported curved stair from solid oak. With unique posts and LED lights, this stair blends both modern and rustic.
