Rustic Oak and Fir Mono-Stringer with Glass Panel Railing

We absolutely loved designing stairs for this stunning log home in Alberta. The home owners wanted stairs that blended rustic and modern styles while still bringing warmth to the space. A two-toned mono-stringer with dadoed glass panel railing was designed bring this vision to reality. There is such beauty in blending woods of solid oak and rustic fir. The floating stair features a solid oak stringer, open rise fir treads, and a rustic fir post. The custom dadoed glass panel railing system of steel, wood, and glass creates a unique modern railing.
